Life Update: Shifting from Chief Growth Officer to an advisory role at Shopify

Life update: After 4 amazing years, I’ve decided to step down from my role as Shopify’s Chief Growth Officer and have transitioned to an advisory role.

Leading growth at Shopify has been an amazing experience. I’m grateful to my good friends Tobi, Harley and Kaz for the opportunity to lead the rocketship’s growth to new heights. It’s been an honor and joy to work with them. Shopify is truly a special company and the future is bright.

Being an entrepreneur and executive in high growth companies is an intense gig. I have no plans to retire but after decades of sprinting hard, I’m going to take some time to catch my breath. I’ll be taking time to be with my family and to think through what’s next.
